This memory quilt is a bit of a collaboration. My good friend Dean’s mom made this Irish chain quilt over 30 years ago. It needed a little care as it had been lovingly used and washed over the years. I took it apart and added the colourful circles, replaced the batting with a cushy cotton and the backing with a soft double gauze muslin. Some of the white squares required patching, but now it’s ready to be used and passed down to the next generation.
